From measurement to proven value

  1. Monitor quality with a KPI dashboard, linked to strategy through a balanced scorecard.
  2. Size the prize with the cost of quality and the cost of poor quality.
  3. Prove each improvement with a before-and-after analysis, and watch the long-term direction with trend analysis.
  4. Bank the savings with benefits tracking and finance validation.

From spreadsheets to live performance data

Performance reports built by hand are late and hard to trust. Cloudtheapp keeps the records behind them (nonconformances, complaints, CAPAs, audits and training) in one validated system, with live dashboards that drill down to every record and management reviews that turn findings into tracked actions.

Frequently asked questions

How do I measure whether quality is improving?

Track a few KPIs against targets on a KPI dashboard, test whether they are really trending with trend analysis, and prove the effect of each change with a before-and-after analysis. Put the results in money with the cost of quality, and track the savings of improvement projects with benefits tracking.

What is the difference between the cost of quality and the cost of poor quality?

The cost of quality covers all four PAF categories: prevention, appraisal, internal failure and external failure. The cost of poor quality covers only the failures, and is often used to estimate hidden costs such as lost capacity and lost sales.

Which statistical tests do these tools use?

Trend analysis uses linear regression and the Mann–Kendall test with Sen's slope. Before-and-after analysis uses Welch's or the paired t-test, the Mann–Whitney test, an F-test on the variances and Cohen's d. Each tool explains its results in plain language.

Are these tools free?

Yes. Every tool is free, needs no account and keeps your data in your browser. Export to PDF, PNG or Excel, or save a file to continue later.
